On June 16, Wang Yanfei, Party member and Deputy Director of Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, and his colleagues visited Yongxiang Co., Ltd. The visitors were accompanied by Ma Bo, Secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Leshan, Lai Shufang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Municipal People's Congress, Zhao Yingchun, Member of Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, Executive Vice Mayer of Municipal Government and Secretary of the Party Committee of Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and Liu Yong, Secretary of Party Committee of Wutongqiao District. Li Bin, Vice President of Tongwei Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Yongxiang Co., Ltd., and Dai Changhong, Assistant to General Manager of Yongxiang Co., Ltd., warmly received the visitors.
Visiting the Digital Experience Center of Yongxiang
At the Digital Experience Center of Yongxiang, Mr. Li gave a detailed presentation on the history, qualifications, honors, and technology R&D input of Yongxiang Co., Ltd. According to him, Yongxiang Co., Ltd., which owns three production bases in Leshan, Sichuan, Baoshan, Yunnan, and Baotou, Inner Mongolia and 10 branches/subsidiaries, has applied for independent intellectual property rights for 543 products and has obtained those for 366 products. Its monthly shipment of high-purity crystalline silicon is over 20,000t, which ranks the first in the world. In years, Yongxiang Co., Ltd. has kept innovating and outdoing itself, stayed on the path of continuous learning and improvement and has gained recognition from the industry, the society and the government. The company has been granted the titles including "national high-tech enterprise", "national enterprise with advantage in IPR", "Chinese patent award of excellence", "top 10 companies in semiconductor materials industry of China" and "pioneer enterprise in energy conservation and emission reduction". With the three strategic high-purity crystalline silicon production bases commissioned in Leshan, Sichuan, Baotou, Inner Mongolia and Baoshan, Yunnan, the estimated production output in 2022 will be 230,000t.

After the site survey, Deputy Director Wang Yanfei expressed high praise and approval of Yongxiang's achievements, and stressed we should profoundly understand the instructions given by President Xi Jinping when he visited Sichuan, conscientiously implement the plans established by the 12th Congress of Party Representatives of Sichuan, accomplish the missions entrusted by the Congress, accelerate the development of Leshan as a central city in the region, and take actions in preparation for the 20th National People's Congress. Deputy Director Wang Yanfei emphasized that all efforts must be made around the themes including "work hard on politics, promote development, improve people's livelihood and protect security", balance between COVID-19 prevention and control and socio-economic development must be efficiently achieved, strong efforts must be made to promote economic development, relieve the enterprises of the difficulties, rigorously control the pandemic, and promote high-quality development of Leshan with firm resolve. We must implement the new development philosophy completely, precisely and comprehensively, stay on our mission, seize the opportunities, integrate Leshan into the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, promote development of "Green Silicon Valley of China", and contribute Leshan's power to governance and prosperity of Sichuan in the new era.
